Confirmation received of loss of Pam Hughes to COVID-19 The death of Pam Hughes, employee of Summit Manor Nursing Home in Columbia, was sadly confirmed in press releases today. She was the second COVID-19 death in Adair County, both related to SMNH. Grissom Martin Funeral Home will have arrangements as soon as they are finalized by her family. An update on the Coronavirus from Adair County Fiscal Court this evening: "Two new cases today. One Employee and one resident of SMNH, this brings our total cases to 46 (41 active cases with with 33 in home or SMNH isolation, 8 in hospital, 3 released from isolation, 2 deaths).
