Food needed in drop boxes at City Hall to help those in need

By Rhonda Loy, City Clerk

If you are in a position to donate items to our food drive, the City of Columbia staff asks you to remember while grocery shopping to try and pick up a few items. We have tubs placed in front of and at the back entrance to City Hall, 116 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY for drop offs.

We are receiving requests daily for help from people throughout the community. Many individuals are out of work and not receiving unemployment benefits yet or have more mouths to feed than usual during this difficult time.

This pandemic is something no one has planned for or expected and the only way to push through is to help each other, be kind to each other and work together, 6 feet apart of course !

For more information you may reach us at (270) 384-2501.

We have all been touched in some way by this virus, we ask that you continue to pray for our community.
