David Michael (Mike) Kelly, 63, Metcalfe Co., KY (1956-2020) David Michael "Mike" Kelly of Metcalfe County passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2020. He was 63 years old. While still abiding by the State mandates, the family has chosen drive by viewing for David Michael "Mike" Kelly to be conducted behind the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main St., Greensburg, KY, on Saturday, April 11, 2020 between the hours of 10amCT and NoonCT. Please, everyone must remain in their vehicles while passing and paying their respects to the Kelly family. Burial will follow in the Maple Hill Cemetery. Bro. Larry Wisdom will be officiating. David Michael "Mike" Kelly of Metcalfe County, Kentucky, son of the late Leroy Kelly and Shirley Posey Kelly, was born on Sunday, December 30, 1956 and departed this life on Thursday, April 9, 2020 at the T.J. Samson Hospital in Glasgow, Kentucky. He was 63 years, 3 months, and 10 days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Fry Baptist Church. He was also a retired Leadman for Dart Containers. Survived by his wife of 38 years, Sherri Elaine Squires Kelly of Metcalfe County, having united in marriage on November 27, 1981. Other survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law: Amanda and Jason Patterson, and Rebecca and Joshua Pruitt all of Green County; mother-in-law: Ruth Sullivan of Greensburg; four grandchildren: Canden Patterson, Abigail Patterson, Audrey Pruitt, and Oliver Pruitt all of Green County; a sister and brother-in-law: Rita Kelly Brown and Bill Brown of Metcalfe County; and a host of other relatives and friends. The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the family burial fund, which can be made through the funeral home.
