Martha Alice Martin, 98, Liberty, KY (1921-2020) Martha Alice Martin of Liberty passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2020, at Liberty Care and Rehab. She was 98 years old. A private graveside service will be held on Friday, March 27, 2020, at Casey County Memorial Gardens with Bro. Greg Powell officiating. An online guestbook is available at www.mckinneybrown.com. Born on August 8, 1921, in the Seminary Community of Clinton County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Freeland and Rhoda Riddle of Albany. She was a homemaker that was active in church and school events. Martha loved cooking, quilting, and her family. She assisted in the WW ll war effort at a factory in Indiana where she fabricated fuel tanks for B17 bombers. She is survived by a son, Rodger (Patricia) Martin; a grandson, Roger Martin Jr.; a great-granddaughter, Lindsey Martin (Nick) Woodrum; a great-great grandson, Grayson Wayne Woodrum; and a great-great granddaughter, Lucy Mae Woodrum. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Robert Gene Martin; three brothers, Oscar Riddle, Charlie Riddle, and Jesse Riddle; and two sisters, Lydia Lowe and Mary Lewis. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of Liberty Care Center, Casey County Hospital, Hospice of Lake Cumberland, and Dr. Haddad for their compassion during this difficult time. Memorial contributions may take the form of sympathy to Mt. Olive Christian Church Youth Group at 1974 N. KY 837 Yosemite, KY 42566.
