Anthony Ray Wethington, 45, Dunnville, KY (1974-2020) Anthony Ray Wethington of Dunnville, KY, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2020, at the UK Hospital in Lexington. He was 45 years old. Funeral services will be held at 1pmET on Thursday, March 19, 2020, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville St, Liberty, KY, with Father Thomas Clark officiating. Burial will be held privately at the Wethington Family Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6pmET on Wednesday at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home. Born August 1, 1974, he was a son of Roger Wethington and Hazel Cox Wethington. Anthony worked in maintenance for the Green River Lake US Army Corps of Engineers. Anthony knew how to "light up a room" with his sense of humor and outgoing personality. He was a diehard Pittsburgh Steelers fan and he also loved college basketball, particularly his UK Wildcats. A few years ago, Anthony made the decision to accept Jesus Christ as his savior and was Baptized. Survivors include his wife, Missy Medaris Wethington, whom he wed on November 29, 1997; father, Roger Wethington of Dunnville; mother, Hazel Cox Wethington of Liberty; daughter, Amber Dawn Bernard of Dunnville; brother, Brent (and Patty) Wethington of Dunnville; grandsons, Brayden Adam Kyle and Kamdyn Rae Bernard; nephew, Michael Wethington; and a host of other family and friends also survive. Pallbearers will be Paul Cox, Brian Aker, Pete McQueary, Ronnie Joe Elmore, Stevie Lee, and Aaron Grigsby.
