Bernard Fain, 90, Campbellsville, KY (1930-2020) Bernard Fain of Campbellsville passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2020. He was 90 years old. The funeral service will be held at 1pmET on Wednesday, March 18, 2020, at Green River Memorial Baptist Church, 3441 Old Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY, officiated by Rev. Jamie Bennett and Rev. Don Gowin. Burial will follow in Green River Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation is requested from 5pmET until 8pmET on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Ave., Campbellsville, KY, and after 10amET on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at Green River Memorial Baptist Church. Bernard Fain of Campbellsville, son of the late Ernest M. Fain and Valta Bland Fain, was born March 1, 1930 in Bullitt County, Kentucky. He died at 8:00 P.M., Saturday, March 14, 2020 in Campbellsville. He professed faith in Christ and was a charter member of Green River Memorial Baptist Church as well as a Trustee. He was also a board member of Campbellsville Housing Authority. Bernard was a retired senior repair man for Tennessee Gas Transmission. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his younger years. He served his country honorably in the United States Navy and was a veteran of the Korea War. He united in marriage to Margaret Gaines August 1, 1953 Besides his wife, Margaret Fain of Campbellsville, he is survived by one daughter and one son: Lori Fain Sharp of Louisville and Brad Fain and wife, Janiene of Sulphur Springs, Texas; four grandchildren: Jeananne Amaya and husband, Carlos of Sulphur Springs, Texas, Becca Fain Stout and husband, Justin of Sulphur Springs, Texas, Brandon Fain and wife, Danielle of Fort Worth, Texas and Timothy Sharp of Louisville; one great-grandson, Luke Amaya; and many other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by a son, Doug Fain January 29, 1979. Expressions of sympathy requested to be donations to Green River Memorial Baptist Church or Gideon Bibles and may be made at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.
