Obituary: Edra V. Kelsey, 76, formerly of Gradyville, KY

Edra V. Kelsey, 76, 1815 Gardiner Lane, Louisville, KY, formerly of the Gradyville community of Adair County, KY, passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2003, at 11:50 p.m. at Baptist East Hospital in Louisville, after an several months illness.

A graveside service will be held at 12 nooon, Monday, November 24, 2003, at the Union Cemetery in Gradyville, KY, with Rev. Billy Dunbar officiating.


She was the daughter of the late Frank Freeman and Loera B. Hamilton Janes of Adair County.

She is survived by the following:
  • Her husband, Charles Kelsey, Louisville, KY.
  • One daughter, Jean Bloom, Louisville
  • Two brothers, Russell Janes, Shepherdsville, KY; and Bernard Janes, Columbia, KY
  • One sister, Chloristeen Hrastinski, Louisville
  • One granddaughter, Kristia Bailey
  • two great grandchildren, Ian and Jessica Bailey.
There will be no public visitation.

Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home is in charge off arrangements.
