Hamilton 'H C' Milby, 93, Green County, KY native (1926-2020) Hamilton "H.C." Milby departed this life on Friday, February 28, 2020 in Florida. He was 93 years, five months, and nine days of age. Thy funeral services will be conducted at 11amCT Friday, March 13, 2020 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Hodges Chapel Cemetery with full military honors. Visitation is requested from 5-8pmCT Thursday and after 7amCT Friday until time of the funeral service. He was the son of the late Claude Milby and Lois Chaudoin Milby, born on Sunday, September 19, 1926 in Green County, Kentucky. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Christ Church in Florida. He was a retired dry cleaner owner, and was a Veteran of WWII having served in the United States Navy. He united in marriage to Hortense Warren Milby on October 9, 1947 who preceded him in death on August 22, 2010. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law: Jerry and Evelyn Milby, and Steve and Peggy Milby all of Florida; five grandchildren: Jerry Michael Milby, Jr. of California, Brian Milby of Florida, Mark Milby of Michigan, Yauna Martin, and Erika Cowez both of North Carolina; seven great-grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law: Charles and Betty Milby of Greensburg; and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Mr. Milby was also preceded in death by a son: Roger Dale Milby; three sisters and four brothers: Mary O'Neil, Ruby Pierce, Ruth Jones, Jimmy Milby, Leon Milby, Alan Milby and Vernon Milby.
