LWC Women's golf in 4th after the 1st day of Skyhawk Invitational

Pine Mountain, GA - The Lindsey Wilson women's golf team completed their first day of competition at the Skyhawk Invitation to sit in fourth place at the Callaway Gardens Golf Club, a par-72, 5,803-yard design.

Tara Rodenhurst shot the Blue Raiders lowest round with a 4-over par 76 to sit in a three-way tie for seventh place. Rodenhurst managed three bogies on each nine while adding two birdied on the front.



Claire McLaughlin - the reigning MSC Golfer of the Week - carded an eight-over, 80 stroke round to sit in 20th place. Megan Mann produced an 83 to tie for 24th place after the first day as Zofia Wojcik sits one shot behind in a tie for 31st.

Dacie Bolton rounds out the Blue Raiders team scoring in a tie for 42nd after shooting an 86.

Katie Biddlecome competed as an individual at the tournament to card a five-over-par round of 77. She is in a tie for 10th place.

Southeastern (Fla.) leads the tournament by 14 strokes with a 300 as South Carolina Beaufort is second at 314. Indiana Wesleyan sits just ahead of the Blue Raiders with a 215.
