WIOA State Plan stakeholder meetings, March 10

Frankfort, KY - The Kentucky Workforce Innovation Board (KWIB) has scheduled six Workforce Investment and Opportunity Act (WIOA) state plan meetings for stakeholder and consumer input across the state from March 9-13, with the two closest meetings to be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 in Somerset and Bowling Green:
  • March 10, 2020, 8:30amET to 10:30amET, Somerset Community College, Harold Rogers Student Commons Community Room #107, 808 Monticello St., Somerset, KY. By Sara Tucker, 451-6676

The proposed 2020 state plan is available for viewing online at WIOA. WIOA is a federally funded program that helps job seekers secure good jobs while providing businesses with the skilled workers they need to compete in the global economy. States must have approved unified or combined state plans to receive federal funding for core programs such as workforce education and training services.
