Edward Carroll Hunt, 75, Campbellsville, KY (1944-2020) Edward Carroll Hunt of Campbellsville passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2020. He was 75 years old. The funeral service will be held at 3pmET on Sunday, March 8, 2020 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Ave., Campbellsville, KY, officiated by Rev. Dave Walters. Burial will follow in Mt. Gilboa Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation is requested from 2pmET until 3pmET on Sunday, March 8, 2020 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home. Edward Carroll Hunt of Campbellsville, son of the late John Dewey Hunt and Bessie Bennett Hunt, was born November 21, 1944 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 9:46 P.M., Wednesday, February 26, 2020 in Owensboro. He professed faith in Christ and was a former member of Mt. Gilboa Baptist Church and had attended Lowell Avenue Baptist Church when his health allowed. He served his country honorable in the United States Navy. Edward had been employed as a factory worker. He enjoyed writing songs as a past time and even had one published, recorded and broadcast on the radio. He is survived by one brother, Dean Hunt and wife, Judy of Louisville; sister-in-law, Lita Hunt of Shepherdsville; brother-in-law, Glenfield Smith of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters: Thomas Lee Hunt, Robert Hunt, Fay Smith and Susan Bolin. Expressions of sympathy requested to be donations to Mt. Gilboa Baptist Church Cemetery Fund. Donations may be made at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home. Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences at parrottramsey.com.
