William Larry Calhoun, 72, Columbia, KY (1947-2020) Mr. Calhoun was a former service station employee and farmer. He loved fishing, hunting and being outdoors. William Larry Calhoun of Columbia passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY. Funeral services will be held at 11amCT on Monday, March 2, 2020, at the Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg St., Columbia, KY. with burial to follow in the Haven Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 4pmCT until 8pmCT at the funeral home, and will continue on Monday morning until time for the service. Born on December 28, 1947 in Taylor County he was the son of the late William Lucian and Lela Parson Calhoun. Mr. Calhoun was a former service station employee and farmer. He loved fishing, hunting and being outdoors. Survivors include his wife Linda Smith Calhoun of Columbia; a son Jeff Calhoun (Pam) of Columbia; a daughter Rhonda Calhoun of Columbia; two sisters Darlene Howard of Campbellsville and Juanita Shadoan of Ohio; two grandchildren Braxton Conner and Taylor Calhoun both of Columbia; one step-grandchild Jerrod Grider of Campbellsville and several other friends and relatives. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three sisters Dana Calhoun, Velma Bagby and Louella Schierloh and two brothers Merlin Calhoun and Danny Calhoun.
