Information for this obituary is courtesy to the family from Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, Columbia, KY. He was the son of the late Willie and Nannie Curry Absher of Adair County, KY. He is survived by the following his wife, Sue Greenwell Absher, Louisville. Mr. Absher was a member of the Charlestown Christian Church, Charlestown, IN. He was a US Army veteran and was retired from General Electric, Louisville, KY. The funeral service is Saturday, October 25, 2003, at 11:00 a.m., Eastern time, at the Owen Funeral Home, 9318 Taylorsville Road, Louisville (Jeffersontown), KY.
