LWC Men's Bowling completes MSC singles and doubles competition By Christopher Coombs Bowling Green, KY - The Lindsey Wilson men's bowling team wrapped up the first day of competition at the Mid-South Conference Championships with the singles and doubles championship on Thursday at Southern Lanes. Brandon Pendley was the top Blue Raider finisher in the singles portion of the competition after knocking down 976 pins to capture 30th place. He bowled three games over the 200 pin plateau with a high of 231 during his third game. Christopher Robertson took 51st with 916 pins as Andy O'Dell finished in 54th with 908 pins and Tanner Goodman tallied 901 pins to finish in 57th place. Jonah Anderson and Pendley teamed up in doubles action for the Blue Raiders best finish in 23rd place with 1,863 pins. Payton Redmon and Robertson managed to finish in 35th place with 1,743 pins as O'Dell and Kendall Bunch finished one spot behind in 36th with 1,741 pins. Anderson, Bunch, Redmon and Alex Ash also competed in the individual portion of the championship, finishing in 64th, 80th, 81st and 97th, respectively. Campbellsville's (Ky.) Andrew McWhorter took first place in singles with 1,093 pins as Cumberland's (Tenn.) Peyton Bell and Jarred Bradshaw took first in doubles with 2,100 total pins. The Blue Raiders return to action on Friday as the team bracket competition begins at 8:30 a.m. CT. 13th-seeded Lindsey Wilson opens day two of competition against 4th-seeded Tennessee Wesleyan.
