Watson exhibit ends Feb. 21 at CU By Joan C. McKinney Campbellsville, KY - Roger Watson of Campbellsville has an art exhibit of hand turned wood bowls on display at The Pence-Chowning Art Gallery, 205 University Drive, Campbellsville, Ky. Watson's exhibit will be on display until Friday, February 21, 2020. Everyone is invited to the free show. Davie Reneau, associate professor of art, said the show is a very good one with reasonable prices. He uses different kinds of wood and labels the bowls with the type of wood and from where it came. Watson usually does two shows a year - at Shakertown Village and in Bardstown, Ky. He graduated from Taylor County High School in 1974. One year later, he enlisted in the United States Navy for four years and came back to Taylor County. In 1980, he began working at Taylor County RECC and will have been there 40 years in April. He will be married to his wife, Leoda, for 38 years in March. They have four sons and three grandchildren. For more information, contact Reneau, associate professor of art, at (270) 590-3859.
