Ruth (Myers) Pierce, 95, Burkesville, KY (1925-2020) Mrs. Ruth (Myers) Pierce, age 95, of Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, February 15, 2020 at the Cumberland County Hospital, in Burkesville, Kentucky. The funeral service for Mrs. Ruth (Myers) Pierce will be conducted on Monday, February 17, 2020, at 2pmCT in the Memory Chapel of the Norris-New Funeral Home, 601 N Main St, Burkesville, KY. Burial will follow in the Fudge Cemetery in Adair County, Kentucky. The family will receive friends after 5pmCT on Sunday February 16, 2020 until the funeral hour on Monday. She is survived by her daughters, June (and Larry) Geralds of Gamaliel, Kentucky, Nancy (and Stephen) Riddle of Burkesville, Kentucky, Judy Tucker of Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee, son, Danny (and Joetta) Pierce of Burkesville, Kentucky, sister, Sue Baker of Burkesville, Kentucky, 5 grandchildren, Sheryl (and Bian) Scott, Angie Geralds, Donny Geralds, Jon Tucker, Tristan Tucker, 4 great-grandchildren, Kyle (and Jessica) Rowe, Ethan Rowe, Melanie (and Jamie) Meek, Jordan (and Holly) Scott, 4 great-great-grandchildren, Presley, Paisley, Taylor, and Nessa Ruth, Sisters-in-law, Uldene Scott, and Anna Myers both of Indiana, brothers-in-law, Lonnie (and Sarah) Pierce of Indiana, and Shannon (and Brenda) Pierce of Glasgow. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the Fudge Cemetery, P.O. Box 237, Columbia, Kentucky 42728. Norris-New Funeral Home is honored to be in charge of the arrangements.
