Joyce Marcum Helm, 85, Jamestown, KY (1934-2020) Joyce Marcum Helm of Jamestown, KY passed away on January 22, 2020 in Wilson, NC. She was 85 years old. The funeral service will be held at a later date in Jamestown, KY, where her cremated remains will be buried next to her late husband. Joyce was born September 1, 1934 in Russell County to the late John Oliver and Josephine Carnes Marcum. She was a talented homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert (Bobby) Helm, and two sisters Virginia (Ginny) Hines and Donna Harper. Survivors include: Son and daughter in law - Gary and Gayle Helm of Wilson, NC; sister Bernita Blair of Russell County, KY; brother in law Otis Hines of Jamestown, KY; brother in law and sister in law Bill and Lucy Helm, Jamestown, KY; aunt in law - Evelyn Philips of Concord, CA; and many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a donation to the Jamestown Christian Church (PO Box 97 Jamestown, KY 42629) where she and Bobby enjoyed being members. H.E.
