Nona Nell Chaney Poynter, 81, Metcalfe County, KY

Nona Nell Chaney Poynter, age 81, of Knob Lick, KY passed away Thursday, January 23, 2020 at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 2pmCT Sunday at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in the Asbury-Center Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8pm Saturday and after 9am Sunday at the funeral home.

She was the daughter of the late Jack and Georgia Gray Chaney. Nona was a homemaker and member of the Antioch Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter Rita (Daniel) Waid of Knob Lick. A special grandson Tyler Piper and his children Avery and Jackson.

She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Poynter.

Butler Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
