Riley P. Sallee, 89, Liberty, KY (1930-2020) Riley P. Sallee of Liberty passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2020, at Casey County Hospital. He was 89 years old. The funeral service will be held at 2pmET on Sunday, January 26, 2020, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville St, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Kenny Spaw officiating. Burial will follow in Lanhamtown Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11amET to 2pmET on Sunday, January 26, 2020, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home. Born on August 1, 1930, in Casey County, he was a son of the late Stewart and Lucy Copley Sallee. Riley was a sawmiller worker and a farmer. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He enjoyed ginseng digging and working in his garden. He is survived by his wife, Alice Mae Lanham Sallee of Liberty; and three sisters, Fonniel Davenport of Casey County, Faustene Davenport of Casey County, and Betty (Lee) Harris of Edinburg, Indiana. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by six sisters and four brothers. The family of Mr. Sallee would like to extend their thanks to Dr. Haddad and all of the staff at Casey County Hospital for their care. Memorial contributions may take the form of sympathy to McKinney-Brown Funeral Home to assist the family in offsetting funeral expenses.
