Wanda Sewell McDonald, 84, Cumberland County, KY Wanda Nadine Sewell McDonald, of Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2020, at her son's residence in Campbellsville, Kentucky, having attained the age of 84 years, 7 months, and 20 days. The Funeral service will be conducted on Friday, January 24, 2020 at 11amCT in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home with Bro. Robert Morris officiating, Eulogy by Honorable David L. Williams. Burial will be in the The Burkesville Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 2 Thursday, January 23, 2020 until the funeral hour on Friday. She was born in Burkesville, Kentucky on Saturday, June 1, 1935, the daughter of Leslie Evert and Alta (Brake) Sewell. She was member of the Burkesville First United Methodist Church, a class of 1954 graduate of Cumberland County High School, secretary for Cumberland County Middle school, Bob Evans, and Houchens, and a member of the Republican Womens Club. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry James McDonald, whom she wed on Monday January 21, 1957, brother, Bernard Sewell, Brother-In-Law, David Anderson. She is survived by her sons, Mark (and Jo Ann) McDonald, of Campbellsville, Kentucky, Steven James McDonald, of Bowling Green, Kentucky, grand-sons, Matt (and Megan) McDonald, of Campbellsville, Kentucky, Luke McDonald, of Bowling Green, Kentucky, sisters-in-law, Ruth Sewell of Indianapolis, Indiana, Barbara Anderson of Burkesville, Kentucky, nieces, Marcia (and Gary) Bryant, Lisa Adcox, and Lori Anderson, nephews, Bernie (and Debbie) Sewell, David Sewell, and Charles Anderson, along with several great nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers contributions appreciated to the Burkesville First United Methodist Church in her memory. Norris-New Funeral Home is honored to be in charge of arrangements.
