Windy, chance of storms today, high 66F

It's currently 59F at the Adair County Mesonet station. There's a 40 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms today, mainly after 4pmCT. Otherwise it will be mostly cloudy and windy, with a high near 66F. South wind 13 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 31 mph.

Tonight will be cloudy, with a low around 58F and a 50 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms. Southerly winds will ramp up late tonight ahead of a cold front, at 13 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 32 mph.

Saturday will bring a 90% chance of rain and thunderstorms, and a high near 71F. Strong to locally damaging winds are possible outside of any thunderstorms Saturday. Also, a line of heavy showers and a few thunderstorms will move through the Ohio Valley, producing briefly torrential rainfall that could lead to localized flash flooding.

Saturday night will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 39F. Southwest wind 8 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 40 mph.

Sunday will be partly sunny, with a high near 51F. West wind around 6 mph becoming calm in the morning.

Sunday night should be mostly cloudy, with a low around 38.
