Dorothy Mae Loy, 79, Columbia, KY (1940-2019) Dorothy Mae Bardin Loy of Columbia passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2019, at the Summit Manor Nursing Home in Columbia. Funeral services will be held at 11amCT on Tuesday, December 31, 2019, at the Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg St., Columbia, KY, with Bro. Ronnie Janes officiating. Burial will follow in the Bardin Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 4pmCT until 8pmCT, and continue Tuesday morning until time for the service, at the funeral home. Born December 25, 1940, in Adair County, she was the daughter of the late Joe and Estell Page Bardin. Mrs. Loy attended the Amazing Grace Church and enjoyed helping and taking care of others. Survivors include her husband Harold Loy of Columbia; two daughters Janeatte Kelsay (Timmy) and Diane Boller (Gary) both of Columbia; six grandchildren Tabitha Giles, Tara Robinson, Joey Keith, Michael Keith, Josh Tweedy and Savannah Tweedy; ten great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren and expecting another; a daughter-in-law Starr Tweedy of Columbia; two special friends Carol Johnson and Nadine Darnell and several other friends and relatives. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sons Larry Tweedy and Jeff Tweedy. Pallbearers will be Jacob Hatcher, Reece Giles, Joey Keith, Josh Tweedy, Travis Coomer, Steve Coomer and Mason Coomer. Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
