TC FFA wins at 2019 Winter Regional Day Contests

Members of the Taylor County High School FFA traveled to Russell County to compete in Agriculture Sales and Employability Skills Career Development Events (CDE) before the end of the semester.

The Taylor County FFA Cardinals, for the second year in a row, brought home the Regional Ag Sales Team title, scoring first place and advancing to the state competition in June.



Team members are Jaylin Cox, Callie McCubbin, Morgan Douglas, and Sarah Beard. Team member Jaylin Cox scored the highest of all the students in the regional contest and was awarded the "High Individual."

Madison Harmon competed in the Regional Employability Skills contest that consisted of a scored resume, cover letter, telephone interview, and personal interview. Madison was second overall in the contest of six schools within the Lake Cumberland Region.
