Casey driver treated and released

One driver was uninjured, and the other was treated and released from the Casey County Hospital following a two-car accident which occurred at 2:15 p.m., August 15, 2003, two miles east of Liberty on Kentucky 70

Lanella Germain, 41, Liberty, was driving east in a 1989 Dodge. and lost control of the vehicle in a curve and struck westbound Janice Brackett, 53, Liberty, driving a 1993 Nissan.

Lanella Germain was not injured. She was wearing a seatbelt.Janice Brackett was treated and released at the hospital. She was also wearing a seat belt.

Trooper Larry Wesley of Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY, worked the accident.
