Jim Duncan, 86, World War II veteran

James Fred "Jim" Duncan, 86, Columbia, KY, died Friday, August 8, 2003, at 10:50 p.m., at the Westlake Regional Hospital in Columbia, KY.

Mr. Duncan served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He had been a resident of Columbia, KY, for the past 25 years.


He was the son of William Wiley and Grace Duncan.

He is survived by his wife, Vesta Sullivan Duncan, Columbia, KY, and one daughter, Carlyne Terbovitz, Somerset, KY., and by eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son, Thomas Wayne Duncan.

Memorials may be made to the Good Shepherd Chatholic Church in Columbia, KY.

Cremation has taken place and a private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are being handled by Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, Inc., 210 Greensburg St., Columbia, KY.
