Obituary: Ray Harmon, 60, Adair Co., KY

Ray Harmon, 60, Carrie Bolin Drive, Columbia, KY, passed away Sunday, August 10, 2003, at 9:45amCT. at Green Hill Manor Nursing Home in Greensburg, KY, after an illness.

The funeral will be Tuesday, August 12, 2003, at 2pmCT., at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Lewis Burton officiating.


He was the son of Annie Harmon, Columbia, who survives, and the late Franze Harmon, Adair County, KY.

Besides his mother, he is survived by the following:
  • One brother, William Harmon, Indianapolis, IN
  • and Three sisters, Doris Streeval and Margie McGaha, both of Columbia, KY, and Mildred Sneed, Gradyville, KY
He was preceded in death by two brothers, George A. Harmon and Frankie Harmon, and by one sister, Effie Popplewell.

Interment will be in Bearwallow Cemetery, 6080 Liberty RD, Columbia, KY

The family requests visitation on Monday, August 11, 2003, after 4pmCT., at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.
