Edith Faye Morgan, 88, Ann Arbor, Michigan, passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2003, at her home.

The funeral service is Saturday, August 2, 2003, at 2:00 p.m., at the Muehlig Funeral Chapel in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Mrs. Morgan was the daughter of the late Sanford and Winnie Love Johnson.

He was the widow of Johnny Wolford Morgan, formerly of Adair County.

She is survived by the following:
  • One son, Jerry Morgan and his wife, Rosy, Ann Arbor, MI

  • And one sister, Louise Russeau Jones, Hamburg, MI
She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters: Woodrow, Bill, and Edgar Johnson, and Georgia Gustatson and Hazel McCleery.

Because Edith was a lifelong Christian and active church member, the family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to any Christian cause or organization, regardless of faith.

Mrs. Morgan attended Berea Academy and College in Berea, KY, where she graduated with academic distinction and a flawless record in character and comportment on which the school's students were also rigorously judged.
