James C. ''Jiggs'' Parnell, 78, World War II veteran World War II veteran James C. "Jiggs" Parnell, 78, 3093 Jones Chapel Road, Columbia, KY, died Wednesday, July 30, 2003, at his residence. The funeral service will be Friday, August 1, 2003, at 2:00 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home with Rev. John Blakey and Rev. Ronnie Dooley officiating. Mr. Parnell was a member of the Jones Chapel United Methodist Church and a farmer. He was the son of the late J.O. and Dellie Rogers Parnell. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Mouser Parnell, Columbia, KY. He is further survived by the following.
Visitation will be after 4:00 p.m., Thursday, July 31. Grissom Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
