Leona Frazier Hitchcock, 83, Greensburg, KY (1936-2019)

Leona Frazier Hitchcock of Greensburg passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2019. She was 83 years old.

There will be graveside services for Leon Frazier Hitchcock held at 2:30pmCT on Sunday, November 24, 2019, at the Fry Cemetery, Fry Ridge Rd, Greensburg, KY. Bro. Larry Wisdom will be officiating.

Visitation is requested from 1pmCT until 2pmCT on Sunday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main St., Greensburg, KY.


Leona Frazier Hitchcock of Greensburg, Kentucky, daughter of the late Charles Frazier and Ruth Bishop Frazier, was born on Friday, June 12, 1936 in Fleischmanns, New York and departed this life on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at her home in Green County. She was 83 years, five months and nine days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a self-employed Baker and also a Baker for Harvest Bakery.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law: Keith and Stephanie Hitchcock of Green County; six grandchildren: Donald Hitchcock, Jr. of Columbia, Rhonda Hitchcock, Jared Hitchcock both of California, William Hitchcock, Katelyn Hitchcock both of Taylor County, and Frederick Hitchcock of Greensburg; six great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Ms. Hitchcock was also preceded in death by a son: Donald Hitchcock in September of 2013.
