William E. (Billy) Benningfield, 76, Campbellsville, KY (1943-2019) William E. (Billy) Benningfield of Campbellsville passed away on Monday, November 4, 2019. He was 76 years old. A graveside service will be held at 2:30pmET on Friday, November 8, 2019, at Lebanon National Cemetery, 20 State Hwy 208, Lebanon, KY, officiated by Mark Carney, with full military honors by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard. William E. Benningfield, son of the late Clarence Benningfield and Jessie Evelyn Page Benningfield, was born September 2, 1943 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 1:05 A.M., Monday, November 4, 2019 in Campbellsville. He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Muldraugh Hill Baptist Church. Billy was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served his country honorably in the United States Army. He was a retired carpenter. He is survived by one son, Brad Benningfield; two brothers and five sisters: Edward "Boss" Benningfield and wife, Barbara Jean, Betty Jean Graham, Sue Pierce and husband, Pete and Karen Karnes and husband, David of Campbellsville, James "Boody" Benningfield of Finley, Shirley Raikes of Louisville, and Opal Henson of PeeWee Valley; special friend, Harry Reif of Campbellsville. Billy was also preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters: Carroll Benningfield, Ronnie Benningfield, Linda Simpson and Aileen Gaddis.
