Coming events in Adair planned by Chamber of Commerce

At its October meeting, the Columbia Adair County Chamber of Commerce Board went over special events coming up this season. Items folks can make plans for included:

- Treats on the Town on Thursday, October 31, 2019, Halloween, from 4 to 7pmCT. Debbie Selby at bank of Columbia is taking reservations;

- The second Food Truck Day is Friday, November 8 in conjunction with To the Nines; - Christmas in Columbia is scheduled for Saturday, December 7, 2019. Carnival/arts and crafts will be at the Lindsey Wilson College Holloway Center.

- The annual Christmas parade, with the theme "Lights Over Columbia", will be held at 6pmCT December 7.

Grand Marshall at the Christmas in Columbia parade will be former Kentucky Speaker of the House, and Adair County native, Jody Richards.

The annual Chamber of Commerce Christmas Gathering will be held at the Pines, Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at 6pmCT.



Members present at the October Board meeting included: Executive Director Ellen Zornes, President Pamela Hoots, and Board Members Patricia Harper, Bobby Bowe, Woody Sharpe, Linda Fitzpatrick, Kerry Humphress, Abe Cross, Angela Cowan, Ann Martin, Sherry Selby, and Linda Waggener.
