Second Food Truck event to be held 8 Nov 2019 By Tiffany Collins The second Food Truck event of the year will be held on Friday, November 8, 2019 in conjunction with the To The Nines monthly open-late retail shopping event in Columbia, only three weeks away. “The purpose of the activity is to promote downtown Columbia; and, to encourage people to shop local,” said Mayor Pamela Hoots. There is also singing going to be scheduled. All varieties of food will be available including: chili, nachos, catfish, tenderloin, barbeque, funnel cakes, and more. “We hope people will come out and eat; as well as shop local,” said Hoots. Proceeds will go toward funding of handicapped ramps for people in the community. This story was posted on 2019-10-24 06:16:04
