Thank you to those attending Gentle Chair Yoga

By Linda Waggener

Gentle Yoga classes meet at 10amCT each Tuesday at the Lindsey Wilson College Wellness Center. Our group set out to have five sessions and we suddenly find ourselves completing 15 sessions. And we feel better after we breathe, stretch, and relax. Joints are proven to feel better with gentle movement and stretching.

Motion is lotion to joints so long as the motions are gentle. The policy of these health department training session is "no pain, no strain." If movement causes pain, the word is "stop" and don't force movement.

I’d like to personally thank the people who have taken part: Elizabeth Webb, Pat Rickman, Nancy Loy, Kathy Franklin, Linda and Dick Fitz Patrick, June White, Vicky Miller, Allison Frost, Kathy Krug, Phyllis Wright, Alice Hadley, Sabine Eastham, Joyce Durham, Anna Bab, Tammy Rich, and Deborah Hensley.

Anyone may join at any time.
