Windy, storms likely, high 77F It's currently 58F at the Adair County Mesonet station. There's a 70% chance of showers and thunderstorms today, with increasing clouds and a high near 77F. A strong storm system will move into the Ohio Valley today, as a cold front pushes into the area. Ahead of this feature, gusty south winds are expected. Sustained winds of 15 to 20 mph are forecast throughout the day with gusts up to 35 mph at times. These wind gusts could make driving difficult for high profile vehicles. Additionally, loose outdoor objects could get blown around. Storms will remain likely until about 3amCT, with an overnight low around 45F. South wind 7 to 13 mph becoming west after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 22 mph. Tuesday should be sunny but cooler, with a high near 64F. West wind 7 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph.
