Cleta Milby Cook, 78, Greensburg, KY (1941-2019)

Mrs. Cleta Beth Milby Cook of Greensburg passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2019. She was 78 years old.

The funeral services for Mrs. Cleta Milby Cook will be conducted at 1pmCT on Sunday, October 20, 2019, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main St., Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Green County Memory Gardens. Bro. Larry Wisdom will be officiating.

Visitation is requested from 4pmCT until 8pmCT on Saturday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7amCT on Sunday until time of the funeral service.



Mrs. Cleta Beth Milby Cook of Greensburg, Kentucky, daughter of the late Austin Milby and Minnie Irene Mays Milby, was born on Wednesday, September 10, 1941 in Green County and departed this life on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at the Green Hill Rehab & Care Center. She was 78 years, one month, and six days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Greensburg Separate Baptist Church. She was also a homemaker and retired salesperson and clerk for former Larry's Carpets.

Survived by her husband of 58 years, Larry Cook of Greensburg, having united in marriage on July 8, 1961.

Other survivors include a daughter and son-in-law: Dana and Kenny Morgan of Greensburg; a son and daughter-in-law: Jason and Tina Cook of Glasgow; three grandchildren: Taylor Cook, Chris Morgan both of Greensburg, and Jase Cook of Glasgow; four step-grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law: DeeDee and Barry Bennett of Greensburg; three brothers and two sisters-in-law: Leslie Milby, Walter and Brenda Milby all of Summersville, and Mendell and Teresa Milby of Columbia; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Cook was also preceded in death by a sister: Carolyn Huff.
