Economic Development Authority meeting, October 16

The Adair Economic Development Authority meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2019, at 8amCT in the meeting room of the Chamber of Commerce Building, 201 Burkesville St., Columbia, KY. Note that the meeting was changed to Wednesday from Tuesday this month due to the Senator Wise Town Hall.

  • Presiding – Bobby Morrison, Chairman
  • Welcome and Call To Order
  • Determination of a Quorum

  • Business:
    • Approval of Minutes as presented – Kenzie Rowe, Secretary
    • Approval of Treasurer’s Report as presented –TreasurerRoger Meadows

  • Business:
    • 1. Update on effort (meet manager TG KY, discussion Winston Hadley, try to arrange, manager on vacation).
    • 2. Update on road engineering.
    • 3. Need to update Board of Directors information.
    • 4. Need to update Board of Directors terms.
    • 5. Business cards with officers, names, contacts.
    • 6. Review notes of brainstorm last meeting and make plans to execute, decide responsibility, leaders of efforts.

The Adair Economic Development Authority (EDA) meeting was held October 16, 2019. Normally meeting on Tuesday, the October meeting was changed to Wednesday to allow for attendance at Senator Max Wise's Town Hall meeting yesterday. Economic Development Authority chair, Bobby Morrison, seated at left, welcomed ACJE Gale Cowan, treasurer Roger Meadows, Mayor Pam Hoots and secretary Kenzie Rowe, at right. EDA meetings are open to the public. The next meeting is Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at 8amCT at the Chamber of Commerce Tourism and Economic Development Authority building, 201 Burkesville Street, Columbia, KY.
