KSP: One injured in a two vehicle collision

Edmonton, KY - Trooper Jonathan Paull is investigating a collision that occurred Saturday, October 12, 2019 at approximately 3:59pmCT on Glasgow Rd at the intersection of Wisdom Rd. located 5 miles west of Edmonton.

Tyra Cross, age 34 of Gamaliel, was operating a 2003 Chevy van eastbound on Wisdom Rd attempting to turn onto Glasgow Rd when she failed to see a 2002 Harley Davidson Motorcycle traveling westbound. As Cross turned onto Glasgow Rd she struck the motorcycle, operated by 52-year-old Darrell Stephens of Edmonton.

Cross was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured. Stephens was not wearing a helmet and was airlifted from the scene to Vanderbilt Hospital in Tennessee, where he is listed in critical condition.



Trooper Paull was assisted at the scene by additional members of the Kentucky State Police, Metcalfe County Sheriff's Department, Barren-Metcalfe EMS, Edmonton Fire Department, and Summer Shade Fire Department.
