Tabernacle School reunion held May 24

The second annual reunion of the old Tabernacle School in the Neatsville area of Adair County was held Saturday, May 24, at the Tabernacle Christian Church. . .

The weather was great for their celebration and they said the attendance was also good. Among the crowd were former students and their families and one of the teachers -- Mrs. Ora Lee Jones, who taught the very first year of her 45-year career in Adair County schools at the Tabernacle School. She spent most of her teaching years at Millerfield School and Shepherd Grade Center. She continues her craft today as teacher of the Ladies' Sunday School class at Tabernacle Christian Church.
