Howard Sells, 91, Burkesville, KY (1928-2019) Mr. Howard Sells of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2019, at the Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville, Kentucky, having attained the age of 91 years, 7 months, and 18 days. The funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, October 5, 2019, at 2:30pmCT in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home, 601 N Main St, Burkesville, KY. Burial will follow in the Christian Chapel Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky. The family will receive friends after 5pmCT on Friday, October 4, 2019, until the funeral hour on Saturday. He was born in Hobart, Kentucky on Tuesday, February 14, 1928, the son of Eddie Marshall and Eunice Mae (Wright) Sells. He was of Church of Christ faith, a member of Christian Chapel Church of Christ, a U. S. Army Veteran, a member of the American Legion and the D. A. V., and a Retiree from Chrysler. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Mae (Scott) Sells, whom he wed on Saturday, September 9, 1950, sisters, Noxie Riddle, Imogene Sells, Alice Hoots, Olene Wallace, Lorena Finley, and brothers, Odell Sells, Marvin Sells, and Herman Sells. He is survived by his daughters, Vicki Sells of Sewanee, Tennessee, Lynn (and Glen) Lee of Jamestown, Tennessee, grandchildren, Elyas (and Meaghan Stiman) Bakhtiari of Williamsburg Virginia, Krystal (and Barry) Scott of Tompkinsville, Kentucky, Mariam Bakhtiari of Nashville, Tennessee, Brittany Lee Rose of Jamestown, Tennessee, great-grandchildren, Seth Michael Rose, Ethan Lane Scott, Dylan Howard Scott, Ryan Houston Scott, Harper Lynn Rose, Kamran Stiman Bakhtiari, and several nieces, nephews.
