ACHS alumnus Jim Richards asks for vote for his brother for Goveror of Kentucky

Dear Editor,

Democrats have an important choice to make on Tuesday, May 20th, a choice that could not be more clear-cut. One candidate for Governor has more experience in education than all other candidates combined. Speaker of the House, Jody Richards, has made improving public education his life's mission. Education is the driving force behind our state's economy, culture, and society in general.

As a former college professor and chairman of the House Education Committee, Jody Richards has fought to strengthen our public school system,. In the last legislative session alone, he led the effort that increased funding for education by $100 million without raising taxes.

Jody has an unblemished record of honesty and integrity. He will put his 27 years of experience as a legislator to work for you and our great state of Kentucky. If education, high paying jobs, tax reforms without raising taxes are issues that concern you, then help us elect Jody Richards as our Democratic Candidate for Governor. He will make you proud to claim him as your governor, just as I am proud to claim him as MY BROTHER.

Sincerely,

Jim S. Richards
