Kentucky Public Policy Institute

The Kentucky Public Policy Institute (PPI) will be held May 21-22, 2003 in Louisville. A project of the UK Cooperative Extension Service, the PPI will offer training in how to conduct local forums on challenging public issues.

Participants will take part in forum deliberations, learn the philosophy behind public deliberation and practice the skills needed to moderate, convene, and record deliberative forums. Registration fees are $110.00 (postmarked before May 16) and $135.00 after May 16. Fees cover materials and meals. On-site housing is available at the Flaget Center for a nominal charge.
