Aaron Clifton Coffey, 71

Aaron Clifton Coffey, 71, Louisville, KY, formerly of Adair county, passed away Thursday, May 8, 2003, at the Caritas Medical Center in Louisville.

Mr. Coffey was the son of the late Melvin and Ruth Rogers Coffey of Adair County.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Smith Coffey, Louisville; two sons, Clifton Bardie and Bryan Coffey, both of Louisville; four sisters, Opal Reliford and her husband, J.C. of Sellersburg, IN: Dorothy Booker and her husband Lloyd of Greensburg, KY, Zane Spires and her husband Junior and Violet Keltner and her husband Wayne, all of Columbia, KY; and one grandaughter and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Junior and Benny Coffey.

He was a retired truck driver for Usher Transport, a 32nd degree Mason, a member of the Scottish Rite, and a Shriner.

Graveside service was Sunday, May 11, 2003, at 1:00 p.m., CST, at Haven Hill Cemetery with Bro. Rodney Keltner officiating.

Visitation was at Owen Funeral Home on Dixie Highway in Louisville.

Memorials are requested to be made to Kosair Charities.
