Roger McFarland, 67, Russell Springs, KY (1952-2019)

Roger McFarland of Russell Springs passed away on Monday, September 23, 2019, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky. He was 67 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 7pmCT on Thursday, September 26, 2019, at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel, 391 East Steve Wariner Dr., Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Paul Roy officiating.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2019, from 5pmCT until 7pmCT at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel, 391 East Steve Wariner Dr., KY.



He was a hardwood floor contractor.

He was born on Thursday June 19, 1952 in Somerset, Kentucky, a son of the late Flora Jane White McFarland and the late Arnold McFarland.

He is survived by:
  • Seven Daughters: Stacy McFarland, Jamestown, Kentucky, Sarah Sharp, Russell Springs, Kentucky, Samantha Jenkins, LaFayette, Tennessee (Spouse William), Jackie Kerr, Jamestown, Kentucky (Spouse Tony), Amanda Rosas, Russell Springs, Kentucky (Spouse Raul), Melinda McFarland, Russell Springs, Kentucky, and Melanie Rogers, Russell Springs, Kentucky
  • Two Sisters: Ruth Hadley, Russell Springs, Kentucky, Ann Dunbar, Russell Springs, Kentucky
  • Three Brothers: Darrell McFarland, Windsor, Kentucky, Donald McFarland, Russell Springs, Kentucky, J. H. McFarland, Russell Springs, Kentucky
  • A host of grandchildren
  • One great-grandchildren
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Everett McFarland and David McFarland, and a sister, Juanita Dunbar.
