CMS, CHS students participate in all-district choir

Campbellsville middle and high school students were recently chosen to participate in this year's Fourth District all-district chorus on Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 16 and 17.

CMS students chosen to participate include seventh-graders Kaylyn Lawson, Mellany Parker and Ellie Wise and eighth-graders Hunter Williams and Luke McDonald.



CHS students chosen to participate include freshmen LeeAnna Darst, Kadence Houk and Zeke Bell.

All-district chorus is presented by Fourth District choral directors.

Dr. Stefanie Kersey Cash Jr. and Dr. Paul Hondorp Sr. directed the students.

Students traveled to Elizabethtown on Monday for rehearsal.

On Tuesday, all-day rehearsals were at Campbellsville University.

The choir performed on Tuesday evening at CU's Ransdell Chapel.

Jessica Floyd is the CMS and CHS music teacher and choir director.
