Adair Economic Development Authority open for ideas

The new Economic Development Authority Chairman, Bobby Morrison, sat at the head of the table in the September meeting with former Chair Mark Dykes at his right.

The two will be working together to keep the road in the Green River Industrial Park and other projects consistent through the transition.



Updates were given on the engineering contract for the road and on core drilling for it.

In addition, Morrison said he wants to push for action that will result in growth in businesses and services. He asked everyone at the meeting for comments on how things can move forward and gave assignments to bring information to the next meeting Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at 8amCT at the Chamber of Commerce, Tourism and Economic Development Authority building, 201 Burkesville Street, Columbia, KY.

Present at the September meeting in addition to Morrison and Dykes were Adair County Judge Executive Gale Cowan, Columbia Mayor Pam Hoots, Ann Martin, Kinzie Rowe, Roger Meadows and members of the media.
