Adair Co. Grand Jury returns indictments Thu 5 Sept 2019

Indictments brought against 12 individuals from Lebanon, Campbellsville, Dunnville, and Columbia, KY, on charges including nonsupport, bail jumping, burglary, theft, criminal mischief, trafficking, possession, DUI, and flight.

NOTE: Indictments are considered formal charges. An indictment is not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by indictment is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.

The Adair County, KY Circuit Court grand jury, Columbia, KY, returned indictments against the following individuals on Thursday, 5 September 2019:


  • Barney L. Shepperson, Blossom Ln., Lebanon, KY Indictment No. 19-CR-00160. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Flagrant Nonsupport. Bail set at $2,500 cash, non-ref.

  • Freddy Burress, Jr., Speck Ridge Rd., Campbellsvile, KY Indictment No. 19-CR-00161. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Bail jumping, 1st degree. No bond.

  • Mark Lee Aaron, Baker St., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 19-CR-00163. Charged with 8 counts. Count 1 - Burglary, 1st degree. Count 2 - Persistent felony offender, 1st degree. Count 3 - Theft by unlawful taking/disposition (auto), $10,000 or m ore but less than $1,000,000. Count 4 - Persistent felony offender, 1st degree. Theft by unlawful taking/disposition, $500 or more but under $10,000. Count 6 - Persistent felony offender, 1st degree. Count 7 - Criminal mischief, 1st degree. Count 8 - Persistent felony offender, 1st degree. Bail set at $30,000 cash.

  • Nicholas E. Murray, Creek Bend Dr., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 19-CR-00164. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Unauthorized use of motor vehicle, 1st offense. Count 2 - Criminal mischief, 1st degree.

  • Charles Scott McFarland, Ashley Court, Columbia, KY Indictment No. 19-CR-00165. Charged with 4 counts. Count 1 - Trafficking in a controlled substance, 1st degree, 2nd or subsequent offense, 2g+ methamphetamine. Count 2 - Persistent felony offender, 1st degree. Count 3 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Count 4 - Possession of a controlled substance, 2nd degree. Bail set at $10,000 cash.

  • Kathryn M. Hadley, Donna Lane, Columbia, KY Indictment No. 19-CR-00166. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, 2nd offense, methamphetamine. Count 2 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Count 3 - Giving a peace officer flase identifying information. Bail set at $1,500 cash w/MCR.

  • Allen Glenn Yates, Hutchison Loy Rd., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 19-CR-00167. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, 3rd+ offense, methamphetamine. Count 2 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Count 3 - Violation of Kentucky EPO/DVO. Bail set at $1,500 cash w/MCR.

  • David Forrest Rooksberry, Hatcher Rd., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 19-CR-00168. Charged with 10 counts. Count 1 - Possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense, methamphetamine. Count 2 - Tampering with physical evidence. Count 3 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Count 4 - Possession of marijuana. Count 5 - Failure to wear seat belt. Count 6 - Failure of non-owner operator to maintain required insurance/security. Count 7 - Possession of open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle. Count 8 - Obstruction vision and/or windshield. Count 9 - No/Expired registration plates. Count 10 - No/Expired other state registration receipt. Bail set at $1,500 cash w/MCR.

  • Jessica S. Jones, Marvin Jones Rd., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 19-CR-00169. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Criminal possession of a forged instrument, 1st degree. Count 2 - One headlight. Count 3 - No tail lamps. Bail set at $10,000 cash/SP.

  • Lonnie James Maynard, Royal Oaks Rd., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 19-CR-00170. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol/drugs/etc., .08, 4th+ offense. Count 2 - Persistent felony offender, 1st degree. Count 3 - Careless driving. Bail set at $10,000 cash.

  • Ashley D. Wilson, a/k/a Ashley D. Sroka, Milltown Rd., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 19-CR-00171. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Trafficking in a controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense, <2g methamphetamine. Count 2 - Trafficking in a controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense, <2g methamphetamine. Bail set at $7,500 cash.

  • Roger N. McDonald, Red Hill Rd., Dunnville, KY Indictment No. 19-CR-00172. Charged with 8 counts. Count 1 - Fleeing or evading the police, 1st degree. Count 2 - Failure to illuminate headlamps. Count 3 - Persistent felony offender, 2nd degree. Count 4 - Operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol/drugs/etc., .08 aggravating circumstance, 2nd offense. Count 5 - Possession of a controlled substance, 3rd degree. Count 6 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Count 7 - Driving DUI suspended license, 1st offense, aggravating circumstance. Count 8 - Failure of owner to maintain required insurance/security, 1st offense. Bail set at $5,000 cash/SP.
