Delbert E. Jewell, 78, Green County, KY (1941-2019) Delbert E. Jewell, age 78 of the Hudgins Community in Green County, KY passed away Friday in the hospital at Somerset. The funeral services will be conducted at 10amCT Monday, September 2, 2019 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg with burial to follow in the Aetna Grove Cemetery. Visitation begins from 2-8pmCT Sunday. Survivors include: His wife: Bettye J. Campbell Jewell of the Hudgin Community in Green County 3 sons & 2 daughters-in-law: Danny Jewell & his companion Pam Clark of Tenn., Tony & Robbyn Jewell of Greensburg, Perry & Jackie Jewell of the Hudgins Community in Summersville. 8 grandchildren: William Chaz & Kristin Jewell and Brooke & Josh White , all of Campbellsville, Skylar & Jason Hollon of Lexington, Emily Jewell and China & Bryan Thompson, all of Greensburg, Destinee Dunn, Macey Capps, and Kala Capps, all of Tenn. 9 great grandchildren: Ryder Sadler, Lily Thompson, Brylee Thompson, Brody Martin, Kennah White, Paisley Capps, Willow Capps, Ellie Grace Kidd and Jett William Jewell due October 15, 2019. The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Aetna Grove Cemetery Fund or the Gideon Bible Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
