Adair FFA Crop Scouting students in competition in Iowa By Rebecca Heuser, FFA Senior Reporter Seven Adair County High School Crop Scouting members will be attending competition Monday, August 26, 2019 in Ames, Iowa. Crop Scouting is an agronomy and plant pathology based contest. Students compete in interactive field scouting exercises in corn and soybeans, testing their knowledge and ability to identify potential field problems. They use basic agronomic and integrated pest management principles to develop suggestions for producers. The group is accepting donations if any businesses or individuals would like to help them pay for their trip and expenses. Contact Mr. Hancock at ACHS FFA.
