Alberta Joan Horn White, 84, Russell Springs, KY (1935-2019)

Alberta Joan Horn White of Russell Springs, Kentucky passed away on Thursday August 22, 2019, at Fair Oaks Health System in Jamestown. She was 84 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30pmCT on Sunday, August 25, 2019, at Fairview Baptist Church, Highway 80, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Joe Allen & Bro. Eric Withers officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 25, 2019, from 2pmCT until 3:30pmCT at Fairview Baptist Church.


She had been a secretary with Burlington and Northern Railroad and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.

She was born on Tuesday March 05, 1935, in McCook, Nebraska, the daughter of the late Ethyl May Lawrence Horn, and the late Albert Max Horn.

She is survived by:
  • A daughter, Vivian Lee Marcum, Russell Springs, Kentucky
  • Two sons, Tom White, Russell Springs, Kentucky, and Steven White, also of Russell Springs, Kentucky.
  • Thirteen grandchildren
  • Eight great-grandchildren
Expressions of sympathy are requested to take the form of a contribution to Hospice of Lake Cumberland or Fairview Church Cemetery and may be left at the church.
