Millie Bowe Burbridge, 82 Services were held at Grissom Funeral Home for Millie Bowe Burbridge on March 12 with Rev. Joseph Payne and Rev. Howard Britt officiating. A native of Cumberland County, she was a daughter of Louis and Minnie Flowers King, a member of the First Baptist Church, and the widow of Eugene Bowe and Henry Burbridge. Survivors include four sons, Bobby Bowe of Columbia, Vernon Lee and Henry O'Neal Bowe, both of Detroit; and John David Bowe of Hodgenville; four daughters, Phyllis Burney, Patty Burrell and Laura Ethel Bowe, all of Detroit, and Betty Bowe of Campbellsville. Also surviving is one sister, Laura Duvall of Cleveland, and 23 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. Mrs. Burbridge was preceded in death by two sons, William Owsley and Jerry Allen Bowe. Casket bearers were Zachery Tobin, Glen Hughes, Terry Bradshaw, Billy Wheat, Chelsie Stone and J. C. Lasley. Burial was in the Allen Cemetery in Cumberland County.
